Driving one of the best cars on the track, Kyle Busch led a race-high 42 laps but failed to lead the most important lap at the Circuit of the Americas. A late caution threw him off his game, allowing Christopher Bell to take advantage and defend his win from last year.
While the racing between the two drivers was extremely clean this year, things were on the opposite end last time. The No. 20 car had spun Busch out of the race, leading to one of the most viral confrontations between two drivers.
Not only did Busch confront Bell for his actions on the track, but he also went face-to-face with the Joe Gibbs Racing driver to issue a warning.
When Kyle Busch Threatened To Wreck Christopher Bell
Bell had wrecked Busch out of the race for the second time in three years, and “Rowdy” was understandably unhappy about it. Not one to shy away from speaking his mind, Busch quickly confronted Bell and delivered grave news.
In a throwback video uploaded on X by NASCAR, the viral conversation between Bell and Busch can be heard again. Busch threatens his contemporary about a wreck coming the latter’s way.
Busch told Bell, “That’s twice in three years you have f***ing wrecked me. I got way greater respect for you. Have I ever wrecked you?”
To which Bell replied, “No.”
Prompting Busch to warn him, “It’s f***ing coming.”
What a difference a year makes.

Thankfully for the JGR driver, the wreck never came.
With Bell putting on a great display of clean racing and opportunistic driving, Rowdy couldn’t help but congratulate him on the win. It was all smiles between the two drivers once it was all done and dusted, with Busch even shaking Bell’s hand on a friendly note.
Furthermore, he took to X to recap their journey over the last year. Showcasing his unfiltered best, the Richard Childress Racing driver claimed how the No. 20 driver was the “b***head” in 2024, but it was Busch who wore that crown this time.
