Abdul Carter Is a Massive Eagles Fan

Here’s his full answer, according to Zach Berman:

“I feel like whoever was the champion, he’s the best. So I feel like Jalen Hurts established himself. He’d been that, and this year actually winning the championship, he did nothing but only certify himself.”

As noted by PFSN’s Sam Len, Carter, a native of the Philadelphia area, is a massive Eagles fan.

He attended La Salle College High School before committing to Penn State.

“Playing for the Eagles would definitely be a dream of mine,” Carter said in July, as Len also stated.

Carter’s support for the Eagles is very real. He even went on Instagram earlier this month defending the team and Hurts.

“Ppl [people] just because someone is talking on a microphone don’t mean they know what they talking bout, this ain’t nothing but hate.. Jalen Hurts is a WINNER which is what matters most.. That’s why everyone trying to bring him down. But it’s cool because that means he’s doing something right! Just winning. Don’t feed into this, he just want some clicks.”

Could Carter Land With the Eagles?

Unless there was some incredible miracle, Carter won’t be playing for the Eagles after the 2025 NFL Draft.

The 6’3″, 250-pound edge rusher could potentially be the No. 1 overall pick if not firmly inside the top three.

As for the Eagles, well, they pick No. 32 overall after making it to the Super Bowl.

So, unless the Eagles want to move a plethora of draft picks to acquire his services, it’s not even remotely possible.

The question becomes whether Carter will land with one of the Eagles biggest rivals, the New York Giants, who hold the No. 3 overall selection.

It’s not common for a top prospect to openly voice his fandom of a team, but Carter certainly has.

In PFSN’s latest mock draft by Owain Jones, Carter is gone with the No. 1 overall pick to the Tennessee Titans, who pass on a quarterback.

Jones describes as “the top overall prospect on many rankings. At 6’3” and 252 pounds, the Penn State edge rusher showcases elite athleticism, impressive production, and aggressive disruption to trouble offensive tackles.

As for the Eagles at No. 32, they take the explosive Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell.
