Travis Kelce Reveals How Taylor Swift’s Music Helps Him Elevate His Mood

In a recent episode of the ‘New Heights‘ podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, the conversation turned to music and emotions. That’s when Travis admitted that Swift’s songs are his go-to soundtrack, no matter the mood.

“I listen to music that is very, uh, telling of my mood,” Kelce said. “I just listen to Taylor’s music. She has something for everything.”

Jason, who has adored Swift but is never one to miss a chance to tease his brother, acknowledged that Taylor’s discography covers all emotional spectrums.

“No matter what mood [you’re in], you can find some Taylor music,” he said.

Travis doubled down, adding that her songs have been a comfort—even in the wake of his Super Bowl loss, saying, “like how the Eagles broke my heart.”

The Kelces kept the conversation lighthearted, but it was clear that Swift’s music played a meaningful role in his life. He went on to say that sad songs, especially country music, have a unique way of making people feel less alone.

“No matter how bad I’m feeling, there’s a country guy that’s singing about it and feeling way worse than me,” Jason joked, adding, “And that gives me joy a lot of the time.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time Kelce has publicly praised Swift’s music. He previously mentioned The Tortured Poets Department as one of his favorite upcoming albums and has referenced her songs on multiple occasions. However, this confession was different and more personal, especially after a heartbreaking loss.

Despite being one of the most talked-about couples in pop culture, Kelce and Swift have kept a low profile since the Super Bowl. The two, who have been dating for nearly two years, haven’t been spotted on their usual date nights. Meanwhile, Swift has made headlines after reportedly losing many social media followers, though she has yet to address the situation.

Regardless of what’s going on publicly, Kelce clarified that his heart and his playlist are in a better place than ever.
