Matthew Stafford’s time with the Los Angeles Rams might be coming to an end. However, the 37-year-old still commands respect, and that is being shown by multiple teams’ interest in acquiring his services.
With several teams vying for Stafford’s signature, NFL fans jockey it out as they suggest the perfect landing spot for the quarterback.

NFL Fans Have Their Say on Matthew Stafford’s Future in the League
NFL insider Albert Breer reported that four teams, namely, the New York Giants, the Cleveland Browns, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Las Vegas Raiders, are competing to secure Stafford to their roster.
As soon as this was posted on X (formerly Twitter), NFL fans flocked to point out the advantages and pitfalls for Stafford’s future regarding these teams.
“Stafford and nabers would be crazy,” tweeted one fan.

“Been thinking Giants but honestly the Steelers could be a pretty good landing spot for him. Not sure what they’d do with Fields then though,” replied a fan.
“No way in hell he ends up in Cleveland,” added a fan.

“Zero chance the Browns can actually afford Stafford, so them inquiring is laughable,” responded a fan.
“Vegas might be the only one he *should* go to, but I think him and LA still come to an agreement,” another fan added.
“No way he goes to teams with 0 chance of winning in the near future. PIT is the only viable option of this group,” tweeted another fan.

Amongst the multiple teams that are looking forward to Stafford joining their ranks, the Giants have generated the most buzz. However, ESPN’s Aaron Schatz, in his report, suggests they shouldn’t go ahead with signing the 2022 Super Bowl winner.
“There is a lot of discussion of Stafford getting traded by the Rams, with New York as the most likely destination,” Schatz said. “The Giants need a quarterback, and Stafford is still playing at a high level. But are the Giants just a veteran quarterback away from winning?”
“It’s not the kind of move that will build a Super Bowl contender for the Giants. Instead, the Giants need to sit at No. 3 in the draft and hope that at least one of the two teams ahead of them doesn’t take a quarterback.”
