Fans Share Their Opinions on the Jets Drafting Shedeur Sanders per Mel Kiper’s Mock Draft

On Tuesday, Kipler appeared on ESPN’s “Get Up” to talk about his mock draft. One of the most shocking aspects of his mock draft was Sanders sliding to the seventh pick and being drafted by the Jets.

Kipler highlighted that both the New York Giants and the Las Vegas Raiders will sign veteran quarterbacks this offseason and not rely on this draft class. A clip of this segment was posted on X (formerly Twitter), and fans expressed their feelings on the entire matter.

“Sanders to the Jets would be perfect they s**k and Sanders also will s**k,” replied one fan.

“Would be legit stunned if the Jets took Sanders,” tweeted a fan.

“Sanders isn’t dropping that far,” added a fan.

“No way the Raiders let Shedeur fall past them,” responded a fan.

“Jets drafting another QB bust,” added another fan.

“Please don’t let my boy go to the jets man them mfs a disaster,” another fan tweeted.

Where Will Sanders Land as per PFSN’s Mock Draft?

Kipler’s mock draft predicts that the Raiders at six will pick the running back Ashton Jeanty out of Boise State. On the other hand, the mock draft by PFN’s Owain Jones on Feb. 25 predicts that the Raiders will go with Sanders.

As per Jones, the Raiders will solve their quarterback problems with the draft, not through trades or free-agent signings. Deion Sanders’ history with the Raiders will play a part in bringing the 23-year-old to Sin City, he added.

“Shedeur Sanders has a pro-ready skill set but doesn’t offer the sky-high ceiling that others do. The steady Colorado passer has great accuracy, processing, and pace control to be a game manager in the NFL,” writes Jones.
