While many analysts like Joel Klatt predict Shedeur will go as high as the No. 1 overall pick, others question his capabilities and credit his last name for the hype.
The Colorado quarterback recently decided not to throw at his NFL Combine appearance, which drew different reactions from the fans.
NFL Fans React to Shedeur Sanders’ NFL Combine Decision
NFL insider Ian Rapoport broke the news on Feb. 23, revealing that the Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders will not be throwing at the 2025 NFL Combine and will focus on his interviews with different teams at the event, helping them get to know him as a person.

Rapoport shared that Sanders has decided his four years of film will do the talking and will throw at Colorado’s Pro Day alongside the Buffaloes’ wide receivers, who are NFL prospects as well.
Reacting to this news, one fan wrote, “Shedeur Sanders doesn’t need to throw at the NFL Combine—he has nothing to gain and more to lose by doing so. There’s no way his agent would give a thumbs up if there was a risk of hurting his draft stock. For him, the interviews are what really matter.”

“He’s just an a*****e like his dad. What’s there to know more of? He’s just likes drawing attention to himself. He knows his arm is sh*t.” another user argued.
“If his last name wasn’t Sanders, he would be a 2nd or 3rd round. Probably will be 2nd now due to this decision.” another fan commented.
