Rob Pelinka and Nico Harrison made their first public appearance together since they made the seismic Luka Dončić trade, and it did not go unnoticed by the public.
Both appeared during Andre Iguodala’s jersey retirement with the Golden State Warriors, and fans were quick to respond.
Fans React to Rob Pelinka, Nico Harrison’s Greeting at Andre Iguodala’s Ceremony
ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk posted a video of Pelinka and Harrison exchanging pleasantries with each other ahead of Iguodala’s ceremony.
Both Mavericks and Lakers fans were quick to respond. Mavericks fans had a more humorous response to it, as one quipped, “Rob Pelinka going at Nico like a crack addict looking to see if Nico has that new product he let him try out last time. ‘Nico! Hey man you selling anymore of those all nba players?'”

Another joked, “Jesus they’re gonna trade Kyrie Irving too.”
It’s fair to suggest that Dallas’ fanbase is in a rather cynical headspace at the moment, and no one can blame them.
Lakers fans joked too, though their jokes revolved around the Mavericks sending them more help around Dončić and the Lakers roster. One joked, “Nico probably gonna give LA AD [Anthony Davis] back too lmaoo.”

Another fan joked, “Reddish and Vincent for gafford and lively soon,” with a GIF of LeBron James celebrating back when he played on the Miami Heat, suggesting another potential lopsided trade that would give L.A. Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II and Dallas Gabe Vincent and Cam Reddish.
A trade like that would only further benefit the Lakers greatly because their frontcourt could be a problem for them since trading Davis to the Mavericks.
Mavericks fans have been going through a lot since finding out they traded Dončić to the Lakers. For the foreseeable future, they will never hesitate to mock Harrison when they get the chance, especially if he’s seen with Pelinka.
Lakers fans can be ridiculed all they want about the trades they’re suggesting. The truth is, they just got Dončić, a 25-year-old phenom well on his way to becoming one of the NBA’s greats. They have every right to throw trades out like that because acquiring Dončić signals that anything is possible.
Any time Harrison and Pelinka are seen out in public together, it will likely lead to a lot of jokes from fans because of what Harrison gave to Pelinka in what could go down as one of the worst trades in NBA history.
