‘Mailata Moving!’ — Eagles Star Jordan Mailata Helps Local Coffee Shop Move Massive 650-Pound Oven

Philadelphia Eagles star offensive lineman Jordan Mailata helped a local Philadelphia coffee shop move a 650-pound commercial oven.

The Philadelphia Eagles are riding high after their Super Bowl victory against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles dominated the game from start to finish and deserve praise for their performance. Quarterback Jalen Hurts was great on his way to earning the Super Bowl MVP, the defense shut down Patrick Mahomes, and the offensive line did its job as well.

One player on the offensive line is still making his impact known after the Super Bowl as well. Offensive tackle Jordan Mailata was seen helping out in the local community in Philadelphia. Mailata is a big, strong man who was called upon at a local coffee shop.

    Jordan Mailata’s Helping Hand

At a local coffee shop, there was an oven that needed to be moved. The problem was the oven weighed 650 pounds. Mailata came in clutch as he was strong enough to move the oven for a friend. Not only did he move the oven, he did it with ease.

“It’s actually not that bad,” Mailata said when moving the oven. “Mailata Moving TM [trademark],” responded the person behind the camera.

Mailata might have a future as a mover once his career is over. Even after moving the oven, he had to make it perfect and straight. Mailata is used to moving stuff, except usually, he moves defensive linemen away from his quarterback and not giant commercial ovens.

    Mailata on the Field

Mailata’s skill on the field is getting recognition as well. He made his first appearance on an All-Pro team after his outstanding 2024 season. Between him and the opposite offensive tackle, Lane Johnson, they make up one of the best offensive tackle duos in the entire NFL.

Mailata is one of the best tackles in the league and was rewarded with a three-year, $66 million extension last offseason. According to PFF’s grades, he was the top-ranked tackle in all of the NFL last season. He did not play football until he was 19 years old. It is a remarkable feat to become among the best of the best with such a late introduction to the game.

    Mailata Outside of Football

Mailata has been active outside of the game of football. In the past, he has gone viral for his ability to sing. Some of his O-line mates, the retired Jason Kelce as well as Johnson, came out with a Christmas album, which featured Mailata.

Mailata’s singing experience didn’t stop there, though. He appeared as a guest on “The Masked Singer,” where he wowed the crowd with his rendition of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.”

Mailata is a man of many talents, both on the field and off of it, and is a great role model to others. His willingness to help in the community was greatly appreciated by the local coffee shop and furthers his legacy as a Philadelphia legend.
