Shedeur Sanders is no stranger to criticism for various things during his time at Colorado, be it about his iconic watch flex or the bundles of diamond jewelry. Many analysts also criticized Shedeur’s media presence with his dad Deion Sanders during the Super Bowl week, where the Colorado QB was seen giving various interviews.
Meanwhile, Miami’s Cam Ward was laying low and probably training for the NFL Draft. However, a recent statement by Cris Carter left fans with massive praise for the Colorado quarterback.

NFL Fans Heaps Praise of Cris Carter’s Story on Shedeur Sanders and Driver
During his latest appearance on the “Up & Adams Show,” Carter shared a story about how he had an endearing conversation with a driver that both he and Sanders shared.
Carter recalled how the driver couldn’t stop gushing over the Colorado quarterback and said that he appreciated the way he carried himself, and interacted with his elder brother Deion Sanders Jr.
The driver shared how he always arrived on the pickup point on time and even made sure his brother, who handles Colorado’s social media, was also on time.
“So the things that the driver said as far as the way he conducts his business, the way he takes care of himself, the way he bosses his brother around to make sure that he’s not late, because he could do some things that aren’t as timely as Shedeur.
“So a true CEO, this is something I told Deion. I just told Deion Junior, the guy behind the media, that you don’t know who’s watching, and to hear this drive brag about Shedeur.”

NFL fans adored this conversation and heaped praise on the Colorado quarterback.
“Deion raised him right,” one fan wrote.
“I may not view him as the top prospect. But one thing I will not knock Shedeur for is discipline, leadership, and perseverance. To me, probably the most impressive next generation athlete I’ve seen thus far from a mental standpoint,” another fan added.
“One recurring thing I’ve heard with anyone that has interviewed Sanders or been around him- his maturity and professionalism jumps off the page,” another fan commented.
“Shedeur is a good egg…. All of Deion kids are good eggs… From a great family,” another fan added.
“Yes, sir, our QB1 has excellent character and professionalism,” another fan appreciated Shedeur.
Shedeur is projected by many to be a top-five pick during the 2025 NFL Draft. However, ESPN’s Field Yates predicts the Colorado QB to go No. 6 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders.
