    President Donald Trump is set to make a notable guest appearance at this weekend’s Daytona 500, NASCAR’s crown jewel event, on Feb. 16. According to the White House, Trump is scheduled for two hours at Daytona International Speedway to join thousands of fans of The Great American Race.

    It’s going to be Trump’s second presidential visit to the Daytona 500 after serving as the Grand Marshal in 2020, where he gave traditional command for the drivers to start their engines. He’s returning in testimony to connect with NASCAR and its fans to build up the tradition.

    Donald Trump’s Tight Schedule on Sunday for the Daytona 500

    President Trump’s Daytona timetable is going to be tight. According to the White House, he would set off from Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla., at 11:30 a.m. ET to reach Daytona International Speedway at 1:10 p.m. ET.

    Overall, he plans to spend a strict two hours at the event, greeting fans and participating in pre-race events. Trump will take off from Daytona at 3:05 p.m. ET to reach Palm Beach International Airport and conclude his visit.
