NFL Analyst Discusses Possible Cleveland Browns-Shedeur Sanders Union in the 2025 NFL Draft

NFL analyst Marshall Green discussed the possibility of Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur landing with the Browns with the No. 2 overall pick.

After Sanders revealed his first top-30 visit was with the Browns and showed love to the Cleveland fans on X, Green thinks the Colorado quarterback is warming up to the idea.

Green also highlighted that Sanders is the No. 1 quarterback in the Browns’ eyes heading into the 2025 NFL Draft.

The analyst also mentioned that the Browns don’t have a quarterback except Deshaun Watson, who re-tore his Achilles and may miss the whole 2025 season.

“Maybe he’s warming up to the idea of being a Cleveland Brown, and rumors are heating up that he is actually the No. 1 quarterback on their big board heading into the NFL Draft.

“Right now, the Cleveland Browns do not have a quarterback, and the only quarterback they have on their roster is extremely overpaid, and he is hurt. He tore his Achilles tendon in the regular season, and then about a month ago, he reinjured that Achilles, supposedly retore it. And he could miss the entire 2025 season for Cleveland, the Browns need a quarterback. They absolutely do.

“But the Tennessee Titans also need a quarterback. And I’m not going to be shocked if the Browns end up picking Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward at the No. 2 overall selection when you don’t have a quarterback. You’re picking at the top of the NFL Draft; it’s really hard to pass on a quarterback because, one, you don’t know when you’re going to be back, and two, you hope that you’re never back at the top of the class or at the top of the draft.

The 2025 NFL Draft will take place starting on April 24 through April 26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
