Patrick Mahomes’ Trainer Bobby Stroupe Points Out Work Needed After Super Bowl Loss

Fans and pundits alike have labeled Mahomes’ outing in Super Bowl 59 as one of his worst. The quarterback’s problems were magnified by his lackluster offensive line and the Eagles’ ferocious defense.

Like a true leader, Mahomes shouldered the responsibility for this loss. He took to X and poured his heart out to the fans.

“Appreciate all the love and support from Chiefs Kingdom. I let y’all down today. I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it. Want to give thanks to God for every opportunity he has given me. We will be back,” he tweeted.

Mahomes’ tweet inspired Stroupe, who has been working with the three-time Super Bowl winner for the past 20 years, since the current Chiefs QB was in fourth grade. Stroupe replied to Mahomes’ tweet and added his promise of coming back.

“New Levels, New Devils. Work ahead. Thank you God!” he tweeted.

The Chiefs and Mahomes have a ton of work ahead in the offseason. While the front office will look to bolster their offensive line, Mahomes and Stroupe will work hard to present an even better version of the QB next season.

Mahomes’ Mother Sends Him a Message After Super Bowl Loss

Patrick’s mother, Randi Mahomes, has been a pillar of support for the quarterback throughout his life. After one of the saddest days in his life, Randi took to Instagram to show her love for her son and post pictures from the big game.

“Not the ending we wanted, but so incredibly proud of Patrick and this team. No matter what, I’ll always be your biggest cheerleader, son. Thank you, Chiefs Kingdom, for the love, support, and riding with us every step of the way,” she captioned her post.
