C.J. Gardner-Johnson has never been one to hold his tongue, but what did he have to say about Travis Kelce’s partner choices on his Instagram story after Super Bowl 59?

Taylor Swift’s Constant Shade
In July of 2023, the landscape of the NFL changed forever. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began dating pop icon Taylor Swift, and the reaction from the public was strong.
People felt like the NFL was faking the whole thing for ratings, or that she was somehow bad for the sport. Neither of which stand on firm ground.
Fans reacted strongly to the Eagles’ win, but as you will see below, not much was mentioned about the Eagles being victorious, but rather the loss for Kelce and Swift.

But it doesn’t seem to ever really phase them. They are both among the best in the world to ever do what they do, and seem to be sticking together through thick and thin.

Swift has mentioned Kelce during performances and has attended many Chiefs games, and Kelce has been steadfast in his support of his pop icon girlfriend.
C.J. Gardner-Johnson’s Post
Gardner-Johnson has always been one to talk on and off the field, ever since his career started in New Orleans, as a Saint. Ironically enough.

Now first off, it is clear that this is a dig at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship. But it also brings his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole into all of it as well.
There wasn’t anything more posted, but it also leaves the perception that this is what Gardner-Johnson said to Kelce in that moment, on the field.
Congrats to C.J. and the Philadelphia Eagles, but sometimes these things can stay as just on-field chatter.
