The sight of Taylor Swift at Kansas City Chiefs games has become something most NFL fans are used to. However, for most people, it hasn’t been easy to accept the biggest musical star in the industry becoming a major part of the broadcast.
Her relationship with Travis Kelce ensures that her presence is a near guarantee at matches. However, the Super Bowl 59 crowd wasn’t too happy with her attendance at the game.

Crowd Boos Mercilessly as Taylor Swift Is Shown on Screen
Before the game began, Swift was in the stands, taking in the sights and sounds of the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. However, the crowd wasn’t having any of it. As the broadcast cut to her, a torrential shower of boos rained down on her.
The usually cheerful Swift was shell-shocked by the reaction and could be heard wondering, “What’s going on?” It was a stark contrast to the national anthem where the image of President Donald Trump supporting a salute drew a roar from those in attendance.

With estimates suggesting that nearly 80% of the crowd in New Orleans was comprised of Philadelphia Eagles fans, it was no wonder that the chorus of boos was so loud when Swift appeared.
For the game, Swift has a star-studded suite with rapper Ice Spice and the three sisters from the band Haim — Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim — sitting alongside her. Alongside them, Travis and Jason Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, are also in the suite.
This year, the trek to the Super Bowl was much simpler than it was for Super Bowl 58 when Swift needed elaborate travel plans to travel from Japan to Las Vegas to see the Chiefs compete for the NFL’s ultimate prize.
Swift has attended multiple Chiefs games this year, and she has been a good luck charm for the team, as Kansas City has yet to lose a game with her in the building this season.
This season, the Chiefs are 9-0 in the games that Swift has attended. She was also on hand for Kansas City’s win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58. That is a streak of 10 consecutive games the Chiefs have won with Swift in attendance.
