Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been dating for nearly two years now, and it’s safe to say the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is among the most popular boyfriends in the world. His rise to popularity among Swifties has helped him grow his brand off the field, and some may say her presence at games has helped him on the field.

Taylor Swift’s Effect on Travis Kelce
Kelce started dating Swift around September of 2024 and has seen a massive increase in his Instagram following since. His following jumped from 2.7 million to 5.39 million during the Chiefs’ 2024 playoff run.
Swift attended all nine homes of the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in the 2024-25 season, and not only did they go undefeated, but Kelce’s Instagram has risen to 6.7 million ahead of Super Bowl 59.
The “Love Story” singer has also caused an uptick in tight ends’ production. According to research by SportsBook Review, Kelce averages 72.7 receiving yards per game when Swift is in attendance. This increases to 94.4 yards per game in the playoffs, but that can partly be attributed to Kelce’s big-game player aura.
He averages 6.8 catches in the regular season and 7.8 catches in the postseason in Swift’s presence. However, he has scored a touchdown in only five of the 21 games when the “Down Bad” hitmaker was in attendance.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has himself appreciated the singer’s impact on his life, admitting that she helped him be the best version of himself.
“I’m enjoying all aspects of life, me and Taylor are happy,” he said on the Stephen A. Smith Show Jan. 15. “Having that confidence and comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium.”
“That’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft. Focus on being the best version of you.”
As Kelce looks to do the historic three-peat with the Chiefs, he is as focused as he has ever been on football.
“I think I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player that I can possibly be, week in and week out for this team,” he continued, “and it’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the field.”
Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 on February 9 in New Orleans and Swift has arrived in New Orleans to cheer Kelce in the big game.
