Cowboys Superstar Micah Parsons Makes Bold Prediction For Super Bowl Clash Between Chiefs-Eagles

Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys is rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59. He said he wants to see a Jordan-esque three-peat.

Micah Parsons plays for the Dallas Cowboys, so it makes sense why he does not root for their division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles, in Super Bowl 59. He appeared on radio row with Kay Adams on Thursday, Feb. 6, and reiterated his position on wanting to see a 3-peat.

“Let’s go, Chiefs!” Parsons shouted. He added, “I always say coaching beats talent. I’m not saying the Eagles aren’t a well-coached team, but if it’s a close game, I think the Chiefs will win. They just find ways to win, especially in clutch moments. I wanna see a 3-peat.”

Micah Parsons Wants to See Kansas City Chiefs Three-Peat

Parsons wants to see the three-peat because he missed Michael Jordan and wants to see the accomplishment.

“They got the most clutch quarterback in the league, not in history, not yet. I want to see the three-peat. I think that’s pretty legendary,” Parsons said of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. “You don’t get to see that all the time. I missed Michael Jordan, you know what I mean. I want to see this.”

This could be a very historic Super Bowl for Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Kansas City has a chance to make history by becoming the first team to win three consecutive Vince Lombardi Trophies.

Should the Chiefs win in Super Bowl 59, they would have secured their fourth Super Bowl title in just six seasons. It would be the fourth for Mahomes. Only three other quarterbacks have accomplished that, and Mahomes would be the first signal-caller to do it before he turned 30 years of age.

For Parsons, a Penn State product, it was the second time during Super Bowl 59 that he made headlines. He previously admitted on his own podcast he almost went to Alabama as a running back.

Parsons has made a name for himself as one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL. The Dallas star is a two-time first-team All-Pro, a Defensive Player of the Year candidate, and the heart of Dallas’ defense. But in an alternate universe, Parsons might not be sacking quarterbacks — he might be running through defenders instead.

Parsons recently revealed a fascinating “what if” scenario on a new episode of his podcast. Before he became an elite pass rusher, Parsons was an unstoppable force on the offensive side of the ball. In fact, one of college football’s biggest powerhouses — Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide — wanted him to join their team as a running back.
