MSN Slideshow Ranking the 10 Most Likely Men’s Royal Rumble Winners By Pro Football Network FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail January 31, 2025 | 10:30 AM EST Share FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail 1 of 10 It’s abundantly clear WWE believes in Bron Breakker. They’ve already gave him a lengthy Intercontinental Championship run and booked him very strong. Breakker is winning the WWE Championship in the future and probably a Royal Rumble. But him winning this year’s Rumble while holding the IC title is doubtful. Jacob Fatu is a future world champion and Wrestlemania main eventer. He is going to be a star. WWE pulling the trigger on Fatu winning the Rumble now would be like if they actually went through with letting Reigns win in 2014. The fans would love it, but it’s probably a year too soon. We’re not quite at the point where these names are likely winners. L.A. Knight remains as hot as ever, but obviously isn’t the greatest in the ring. Him winning the Rumble would draw a huge reaction, but given Knight’s status on the card, it seems unlikely. The Randy Orton - Kevin Owens feud is coming. Does it need a title? Probably not. But can we ever count out one of the greatest of all time? If WWE wants to go with Owens over Cody and have Orton win the Rumble to set up that match, no one can really be upset about it. This would be a nice swerve. Seth Rollins has been out of the main event picture for quite some time now. The architect of the heist of the century would put on a masterpiece with whomever he faces. This Drew McIntyre revenge tour is a great story. He’s a true main event player and a Wrestlemania match between him and either champion would be an incredible match. 10 years ago, Roman Reigns was handed a Royal Rumble victory that no one wanted to see, and got booed out of the building. This year, fans will probably be okay if it happens. Although, it’s unclear if fans are interested in Reigns vs. Cody for a third consecutive year…assuming Cody walks out of his match with Kevin Owens as the champ. Either way, the top guy of the past decade is always a threat to come out on top. Few superstars have been hotter than Jey Uso over the past year. Fans have been clamoring for him to finally capture the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship. Jey has gotten close a couple of times. If WWE wants to actually veer from the usual Royal Rumble winner is who we think it will be, Jey winning would draw a massive pop. If it’s not going to be Cena, this could be the year CM Punk finally gets his Rumble win. Last year’s runner up remains a huge draw and is very much worth of main eventing Wrestlemania. The John Cena farewell tour began with Raw’s Netflix debut, but it really starts at the Royal Rumble. The greatest of all time is one world championship shy of breaking Ric Flair’s record. If WWE plans on giving Cena one final run, this is the perfect way to do it.
