NFL Fans Left Unimpressed As Alabama’s Jalen Milroe Struggles During Senior Bowl Practice

Football fans react on social media to Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe struggling at Senior Bowl practice ahead of the 2025 Draft.

Alabama Crimson Tide star quarterback and NFL prospect Jalen Milroe appeared to be struggling with his accuracy during a practice before the Senior Bowl. This was on display when the social media user @FultonW_ posted four separate throws by Milroe that were not very inspiring.

While most reports detail Milroe’s inconsistency on the day, it is important to note that these kinds of videos on social media can be misleading. Milroe may have completed various good passes throughout the day. However, he might have been the victim of viral fandom.

Football fans have taken to social media to discuss Milroe’s 2025 NFL Draft stock.

Social Media Reaction to Jalen Milroe Senior Bowl Practice Struggles

@FultonW_ took to social media to display a few videos of Milroe struggling with accuracy.

“Milroe throwing some receiver one-on-ones,” they detailed.

In response, one person explained how they now understood how Alabama lost four games this past season.

Meanwhile, one individual came to Milroe’s defense.

“Just stay focused dawg. All you can do is keep going,” they highlighted.

    Milroe 2025 NFL Draft Projection

Milroe has the skills and talent to make an impact in the NFL, however, will most likely need time to develop before becoming a full time starting quarterback in the league. In Pro Football Network’s recent 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Milroe was selected in the third round, No. 65 overall by the New York Giants.

“After looking like a potential QB1 midway through the CFB season Milroe’s confidence, accuracy, and overall play drove off a cliff in the second half. However, few players in college football were more dangerous with the ball in their hands, and Milroe should at least see the field in set offensive packages in 2025 as he develops as a quarterback while fixing some mechanical tightness in his throwing motion.

“If it doesn’t work out, he has the frame density, explosiveness, and vision to potentially be one of the most dangerous running backs in the league. But this is a talent that needs to fail into that role.”

While it remains to be definitively seen where Milroe is taken come April’s NFL Draft, it is evident that his recent practice showing has football fans talking about his future prospects.
