Fans React to Marshawn Lynch’s Antics at Pete Carroll’s Introductory Press Conference With the Raiders

Carroll attended an introductory press conference with the Raiders on Jan. 27. At the press conference, someone screamed “RAIDERS” loudly — it was an amusing moment that got a smile out of Carroll.

After the press conference, Lynch found Carroll and revealed he had yelled at him. Carroll found it amusing, and the two embraced each other when they saw each other. Most fans found this interaction hilarious and said as much on X.

    “Pure gold,” one fan wrote.

“Pete always great relationships with players,” one fan commented.

“So wholesome I really like that duo. Those were the good old days. Pete Carroll and Lynch are both great characters and so likable,” one fan added.

Fans continued to discuss the amusing interaction on X.

“I love that Marshawn goes anywhere and everywhere he wants lol,” one fan wrote.

“People trashing the raiders for this hire are so dumb lmao. Carrol is literally perfect character for this job. This isn’t a job where the playoffs are even a reasonable thought given the division. The raiders coach will be dealing with mad fans and non stop hate from the press. Need someone with the mental capacity to deal with all that while getting players to buy in.

“I guarantee that Carrol will get raiders on the right path. He will make the playoffs before he’s done there & set up an awesome job for a young head coach one day and he will proly take on a role of some sorts when that guy comes,” one fan commented.

“Marshawn about to come out of retirement,” one fan added.

Carroll should bring a lot of experience to a rebuilding Raiders team. He is tied for 17th in all-time wins by a head coach with 181. Although his career primarily involved coaching the Seahawks, he also served briefly as the head coach of the New York Jets and New England Patriots in the 1990s.
