Eagles Legend Nick Foles Hits the Streets To Celebrate Philly Booking Super Bowl Rematch vs. Chiefs

The Philadelphia Eagles silenced their critics with a thunderous victory over the Washington Commanders (55-23) in the NFC Championship. They have once again been crowned as the kings of the NFC, with New Orleans — the site of this year’s Super Bowl — firmly in their focus.

Like several fans, Eagles cult hero Nick Foles also couldn’t help but celebrate this historic victory with his wife on Philly streets.

Nick Foles Celebrates the Eagles’ Victory Over The Commanders

Nick Sirianni and Co. proved their mettle this season and defeated a young and hungry squad to reclaim their grasp on the NFC title. With this win, the Eagles have waltzed into their second Super Bowl game in three years.

Foles gained cult status in Philly as he led them to win their first Super Bowl against the New England Patriots during his second stint. The former quarterback started the season as a backup, but due to injury to Carson Wentz, became the starter for the Super Bowl.

The 2018 Super Bowl MVP celebrated this victory like Eagles fans — by taking to the streets. He uploaded a picture of himself with his wife Tori on X (formerly Twitter). “Had to celebrate a little on Broad Street with Tori!” he tweeted.

Foles and his team had to overcome a dynasty and a generational QB to write their names in the history books. Seven years later, they have a similar challenge in front of them. Fans would hope Jalen Hurts could channel his inner Foles to win them their second Super Bowl.

Hurts Has Lombardi Trophy on His Mind

Hurts came close to winning it all in 2023 against the Chiefs but failed, losing the game 38-35. However, the 26-year-old has a chance to exact his revenge. Hurts clarified that only winning matters to him to the press after conquering the NFC on Sunday (Jan. 26).

“I don’t play the game for stats,” Hurts said. “I don’t play the game for numbers or any statistical approval from anybody else. I know everyone has a preconceived notion for how it’s supposed to look.”

The Eagles will lock horns against the Chiefs on Feb. 9 to decide the Super Bowl winner.
