He is an outstanding weapon from the slot and even split out wide plenty often. He’s not nearly as explosive as Kyle Pitts, but they should be used similarly at the NFL level. Sean Payton can surely carve out a role for the big-bodied offensive weapon because he’s good enough as an H-back type to move around the formation and block across the formation on split zone or in space. Kaleb Johnson is surely an explosive RB option from Iowa for Sean Payton and the Broncos. Despite not possessing the same explosive potential of his contemporaries in the class, Johnson produced more 15-plus-yard runs than anyone in college football not named Jeanty or Central Florida’s RJ Harvey. His vision is outrageous and his feet are like electric torque vectors with a mind of their own that consistently point him in the perfect direction to maximize his return. Jared Ivey from Ole Miss could be another good addition for the Broncos. He is big and stiff on the outside but he’s got bricks for hands and an arsenal of rushing moves to win tightly off the shoulder of offensive tackles. He will also be an impressive run defender at the NFL level. Texas Longhorns RB Jordan Blue could well be another good option for the Broncos. This season, he has covered 730 rushing yards and scored 8 rushing TDs. He also hauled in 42 receptions for 368 yards and 6 receiving TDs. Bowling Green Falcons CB Jordan Oladokun could fit in well at Denver. This season the CB had 35 tackles, out of which 27 were solo and 8 assisted. He also scored 1 TD. Michigan Wolverine's Josh Priebe could be a good fit at Payton's Broncos' OL. He started all 13 games at left guard for the Wolverines in 2024, and was a third-team All-Big Ten selection for a consecutive season. HC Payton could go for Auburn's Izavion Miller to bolster the OL. The young OT has made 11 starts this season. The 6'6" inch 301 pounder could well turn into a a depth piece for Broncos offense.
