MSN Slideshow New York Giants 7-Round NFL Mock Draft By Pro Football Network FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail January 23, 2025 | 7:20 PM EST Share FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail 1 of 9 After a horrible 3-14 season, the New York Giants would like to make improvements to their roster. Let's look at what PFN predicted in their most recent 7-round mock. Hunter likely wants to play on both sides of the ball at the NFL level. His wallet would certainly want him to play a significant amount of snaps on the offensive side of the ball. However, teams likely won’t give that much thought considering how difficult it is to find an island defensively. Hunter is that island. He’s the most intelligent cornerback since Patrick Surtain, and he just so happens to have the best ball skills in the class as a wide receiver, let alone for cornerbacks. After flashing surprisingly productive tape at offensive tackle in the back half of the season the 34th pick might be 15 picks too low for Jackson. He might end up going before the young man he replaced at left tackle for the Buckeyes. He might even play tackle in the NFL, considering he has the athleticism for it and boasts 35-inch arms! But in this simulation, he’s inserting as the Giants left guard. After looking like a potential QB1 midway through the CFB season Milroe’s confidence, accuracy, and overall play fell off a cliff in the second half. However, few players in college football were more dangerous with the ball in their hands, and Milroe should at least see the field in set offensive packages in 2025 as he develops as a quarterback while fixing some mechanical tightness in his throwing motion. If it doesn’t work out, he has the frame density, explosiveness, and vision to potentially be one of the most dangerous running backs in the league. But this is a talent that needs to fail into that role. Kalel Mullings started his career as a linebacker but transitioned into a running back later. His experience at two positions and adaptability combined with his exceptional size makes him a full package. He is a great runner and has got a good vision. Malachi Moore is a former CFB National Champion and is good at driving and attacking the ball in the air. He can play both deep and as a man coverage. Moore guards the ball carriers enabling them to get a few more yards before they get to the ground. Nickloas Martin took the national football scene by storm by topping the Big 12 chart in tackles, solo tackles and tackles/game. His speed and versatility makes him a good fit for the Giants defense. Martin’s play strength and tackling ability can help overlook his size limitations. Upton Stout demonstrates smooth backpedal and sleek transitions. He threatens to reach the ball early with great acceleration. He can blitz and play on the other side of the scrimmage line. Upton can suit up as both outside and slot cornerback. Holden Willis shows tremendous versatility, having the ability to play both slot and in-line tight end. He has a great contested-catch appeal and open field wiggle. The TE has played more snaps out wide than inline.
