Analyst Points to Shedeur Sanders’ Brave Skill That Could Excite NFL Teams

One popular football analyst broke down the impressive attributes of Colorado Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

On Jan. 22, the NFL Draft evaluation and fantasy football analysis X profile ‘@FFSnoog’ discussed Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders. The popular social media page outlined how impressive Sanders’ ability to stay and perform in a collapsing pocket is without panicking or throwing the ball away.

Sanders is widely expected to be one of the first players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft after a strong campaign with the Buffaloes this year. Known for his accuracy, his toughness, and his arm talent, Sanders has the skills to succeed for any NFL franchise at the professional level.

    Shedeur Sanders’ Impressive Pocket Awareness

As @FFSnoog notes, standing up and delivering a good ball while being under pressure in the pocket is extremely difficult to do.

“Stepping up into a collapsing pocket takes real guts as a pocket passer. Poised and doesn’t panic here, he stays true to his zone. With just enough time, Shedeur Sanders gets the ball downfield to his defender,” the popular analyst detailed.

    Sanders’ 2025 NFL Draft Projection

In Pro Football Network’s latest 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft completed by Dalton Miller, Sanders was selected No. 1 overall by the Tennessee Titans.

As Miller notes, “The Titans are in an interesting spot. Brian Callahan clearly needs a new name under center for his offense. His relationship with Will Levis is tumultuous at best, and he should have more than enough security to have Sanders develop for a year or two.

Sanders isn’t a finished product. He’s the most accurate quarterback in the class by a significant margin, and he’s able to work within an NFL timeline, considering he’s survived poor protection in college throughout his career. His physical ceiling is lower than Cam Ward’s, but the same clear frustrations Callahan has with Levis will be present with Ward, who is, by any definition, an old-school gunslinger.”

In many respects, Sanders to the Titans makes sense for both the team and the player involved. For the Titans, Sanders could finally be the long-term answer at the position they have struggled with for years. Most recently, the Titans used a combination of Will Levis and Mason Rudolph at QB, with neither option playing well enough to solve the positional problem.

Sanders’ potential as the Titans’ next quarterback has upside. The offense, which includes wide receiver Calvin Ridley and running back Tony Pollard, has proven NFL talents, which could make Sanders’ transition to the professional ranks from the college level easier.
