Lamar Jackson and his Baltimore Ravens endured an agonizing playoff defeat against the Buffalo Bills, ending the game with a missed two-point conversion that would’ve tied the contest. Baltimore’s season ended with a 27-25 loss.
Hard Knocks has released footage of the multi-time MVP in distress after the game.
Lamar Jackson Laments Missed Opportunities Following Defeat vs. Buffalo Bills
Jackson was captured after the game in the locker room by the Hard Knocks filming crew. While he stayed composed in his interaction with Josh Allen immediately after the clock hit triple zeroes, his true feelings and dejection with himself were apparent.
“Two points. I don’t let s*** linger, but I just know how these type of games be,” Jackson said. “That’s why I kept saying ‘Ahh, man.’ I’m mad, bro. I ain’t gonna be alright.”
Jackson had fervent praise for all of his teammates for the 2024 season. But the face of the Ravens knows that the offseason roster turnover will change things up, as he noted post-game.
“Hats off to all the guys, man, players who was all on the journey together, man. Unfortunately, some of the guys won’t be here next year.”

Running back Derrick Henry attempted to give the quarterback some solace in his locker room speech.
“(It’s) okay man. Been a teammate and found a bro,” Henry said. “Lamar is, you know, what made this thing go, and he’s the reason why we still had a chance. So I tell him the same thing, hold this head high, man.”
How Did Jackson Perform Against the Bills?
Jackson had an up-and-down performance against Allen and Buffalo during the Divisional Round. He started the game off by leading Baltimore to a touchdown on their opening drive.
However, he threw an interception in the next possession drive that followed. While Buffalo was unable to make this possession count, Jackson’s next error proved to be more costly. He fumbled as he was engulfed by multiple Bills rushers. Von Miller picked up the ball and returned it 39 yards, setting up a touchdown drive.
These errors resulted in a -0.52 EPA/DB when pressured, which ranks 15th of the 20 playoff performances in the playoffs so far. However, for the second straight week, he was excellent from a clean pocket, with a 0.65 EPA/DB. Additionally, Jackson converted on 71.4% of third-down opportunities and finished with a 9.6 nYPA.
Despite his turnovers, Jackson finished with the best QB+ of the week at 85.7. This is the fourth-best figure of the playoffs so far among all quarterbacks.
