When the Kansas City Chiefs won their first two Super Bowls, they were America’s team (sorry, Dallas Cowboys), but now that they may be on the verge of winning a third straight Super Bowl, they have become Public Enemy No. 1.
Baltimore Ravens defensive back Marlon Humphrey is calling on the teams left in the playoffs — the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Commanders — to end the Chiefs’ reign of terror on the NFL.
Marlon Humphrey Calls Out Chiefs
Since Baltimore was eliminated by Buffalo on Sunday, Jan. 19, Humphrey sent out a message to the Bills and other teams left in the playoffs: Stop the Chiefs.
“I have no reason to say this other than being a hater. The Bills or whatever NFC team gotta beat the Chiefs. We can’t let them keep getting away with this,” Humphrey posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

A lot of NFL fans were in agreement with Humphrey
“If they don’t agree with you, they hating because you’re spot on nobody wants to keep seeing Patricia and the Chiefs winning with the refs help,” one X user replied.

“Nah think about it- right now, only one fanbase and team is happy, the Chiefs. If they win again, nothing changes and it’s like this year never happened. If someone else wins that means someone else gets to be happy and we can’t have that,” a user said in response to his request.

Other fans, however, called out Humphrey and his team for not stopping the Chiefs themselves, with one saying, “Kinda pathetic to root for the team that’s just sent you home 😂 explains their team perfectly.”

Reasons Why the Chiefs Are Hated
With their dominance these last few years, the Chiefs have become the modern-day New England Patriots. Fans complain about how they are getting calls to go their way in games and because of their overexposure, especially with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, whose romance has been splashed all over social media.
The Chiefs have also become media darlings with Patrick Mahomes and Kelce being on what seems like every other commercial on television. Another reason they are hated so much: they win — and win a lot.

Despite not looking dominant this year, the Chiefs have only one loss, against their AFC Championship Game opponent, the Bills.
So, it’s understandable why Humphrey and many NFL fans are ready to see new NFL champions, though someone will have to knock them off first.
