It was all fun and games when Shilo and Shedeur Sanders visited the Colorado training facility. They met Maurice Sims (Coach Mo), who was named Colorado’s director of football sports performance by Deion Sanders in Dec. 2022.
Sims has been a strength and conditioning veteran with over 10 years of experience. He also followed Coach Prime from Jackson State to Boulder ahead of the 2023 season.
Shilo, Shedeur Sanders’ Banter With Coach Mo
The Sanders brothers have a jam-packed schedule ahead of them. With both ending their college football careers after the Alamo Bowl and declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft, they must keep themselves in peak fitness to impress NFL scouts.
There is no one better than Coach Mo to help them be a better version of themselves.
Deion Sanders Jr., owner of the Well Off Media channel, covered the reunion of Shedeur, Shilo, and Coach Mo — equipped with playful banter, as usual.
After the safety started teasing Sims on his iconic braids, the quarterback playfully told Sims, “Hey, don’t touch. Y’all don’t have any insurance on me anymore,” highlighting that he is no longer Sims’ student at Colorado.

Shilo, Shedeur Sanders Set To Feature in 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl
The 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl will mark the first time Shedeur and Shilo will grace the field after taking a tough loss against the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl.
The brothers will have the opportunity to work with professional coaches on Thursday, Jan. 30 at the Shrine Bowl. For Shedeur particularly, he will get to meet and learn under the tutelage of Tennessee Titans assistant wide receivers coach Payton McCollum, who will be the quarterbacks coach of the West team.
The association has some implications given the Titans hold the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and are expected to draft either Shedeur or Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward.
Leaving a good impression could solidify Sanders as the No. 1 overall pick. If not the Titans, either the Cleveland Browns (No. 2 pick) or the New York Giants (No. 3 pick) could potentially draft Sanders to bolster their QB room.
