    Eagles Superstar Saquon Barkley Gives Young Fan Ultimate Gift After 205-Yard, 2-TD Performance in Win Over Rams

    Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley gave his ceremonial game ball to a young fan following the win over the Los Angeles Rams.

    After the Philadelphia Eagles’ Divisional Round win over the Los Angeles Rams, running back Saquon Barkley came off the field and saw a young fan. Barkley made the moment magical for the fan by presenting him with one of the NBC ceremonial game balls Sunday night.

    The young fan on the receiving end of the heartwarming moment was the child of one of the Eagles’ equipment managers.

    Saquon Barkley Presents Young Fan With NBC Ceremonial Game Ball Following Win Over Rams

    Barkley, who ran the ball for 205 yards against the Rams and scored two 60+ yard touchdowns. As fate would have it, he also scored two touchdowns against the Rams during the regular season of at least 60 yards. He is now the first player in NFL history to have four touchdowns against a single opponent over 60 yards.

    The Rams are the team that keeps on giving. On Nov. 24, Barkley ran for 255 yards against the same Chris Shula defense. In the regular-season matchup, he scored on runs of 70 and 72 yards, respectively.

    Overall, in two games against the Rams, Barkley has amassed 460 yards and four touchdowns on 52 carries. He also caught eight passes out of the backfield for an additional 74 yards. In total, he has 534 yards against the Rams in two games.

    Barkley turned on the jets in the fourth quarter, the Eagles were holding on to a 22-15 lead. The game was still contested, with plenty of time for the Rams to come back. Barkley took a handoff from quarterback Jalen Hurts and exploded through the snow for a 78-yard touchdown run.

    When Barkley hit the end zone, he ran around it like he once did at Penn State and waved his arms in celebration.

    The former New York Giants star received his props from fans on social media following the explosive run. He even got a little love from Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson.

    Actor Rob McElhenney of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia wanted to vote for Barkley for president of the universe.

    Former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy Award winner Robert Griffin III could not give Barkley enough praise on social media. All he could say was Barkley was simply sensational.

    Barkley will attempt to rush for his second 200-yard game in a row when the Eagles host the Washington Commanders next Sunday in the NFC Championship Game. The winner gets a trip to the Super Bowl to face the AFC champions on Feb. 9.

    Hurts said after the game, you can try to stop Barkley, but you probably won’t.

    “They try,” Hurts said after the game. ” …. I don’t think that there’s been a game where he’s been taken away.”
