Patrick Mahomes is not only a three-time Super Bowl champion — he’s a dad of three. That was on display after the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory against the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round.
Mahomes had an adorable moment with his son after his postgame media availability.
Patrick Mahomes Has Cute Moment With Son Bronze
After the game, Mahomes met with media with his wife Brittany and two of his three kids in attendance.
Apparently during his postgame news conference, Mahomes’ daughter Sterling must have been talking while his daddy was giving interviews. As he was leaving, you can overhear him say, “Why we talking so much? Come on Bronze!”

As the toddler made his way to his daddy, he fell but bounced back up and left with his parents and older sister Sterling.
All About the Mahomes Kids
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes welcomed their third child — Golden Raye Mahomes — last week.
She joins older sister Sterling and older brother Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes Jr.
Sterling Skye Mahomes
Sterling was the Mahomes’ first child. According to the Sporting News, when they were deciding on a name, Patrick and Brittany said they knew that either way, they would name the first child Sterling. The name works for both a boy and a girl and is a name that she had always loved.
Sterling was born on February 20, 2021. She was born just weeks after Mahomes and the Chiefs lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl 55.
Not long after Sterling was born, the Mahomes welcomed their son Patrick Jr.
Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes
Mahomes had already planned to name his son Patrick Jr. to carry on the family name. Mahomes is Patrick the II and his son is Patrick III. Just before his son was born, he and his brother Jackson were trying to come up with clever ways to create a nickname for the baby.
A lot of people use Trey as “the third,” but it was Jackson who thought of Bronze. This nickname not only works perfectly because it keeps the metal/element connection, but it is commonly known as representing third place in the Olympics. Bronze was born on November 28, 2022.
Golden Raye Mahomes
Golden Raye Mahomes was born on January 12, 2025. As with Sterling and Bronze, it continued the couple’s metal/element theme and it is said that little Golden may be the Mahomes’ last child.
All three of their kids are under the age of three until older sister Sterling turns four in February.
