Micah Parsons isn’t the type of person who hides his true feelings. Whether on the field, his podcast, or on social media, the linebacker has made a habit of being true to himself.
He didn’t stop when confronting legendary Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant. The former WR has issues with the “culture” of the franchise and Parsons reminds him of his role in it. Bryant didn’t shy from responding, either.
Micah Parsons and Dez Bryant Hash It Out Online
America’s Team ended the season with a 7-10 record and missed the postseason. Head coach Mike McCarthy and the team parted ways, and now the conversation has shifted to Jerry Jones.
Bryant fired the first shot at the front office and the Cowboys’ locker room on X (formerly Twitter).
“From now on, I’ll speak my truth about the Cowboys… whether it’s good or bad. Jerry has built a great brand, and now it’s time for the team to start winning. It’s time for a real culture shift. I’m fed up with all the nepotism..get someone in there who can win games,” he wrote.
Parsons couldn’t hold back and highlighted that Bryant spent eight seasons with the franchise. Even after leaving the Cowboys in 2017, he still has several franchise records to his name. This led Parsons to clap back at him on X.
“Stuff like this irrates me Dez because you had tenough talent and was. Probaly one greatest in your time! You could have changed the culture brother!! You could have changed the culture,” Parsons tweeted.

Fans knew this wouldn’t be the end of it — within minutes of Parsons’ tweet, Bryant responded. The 36-year-old pointed out that his outspoken behavior has paved the way for the players like Parsons, as the LB has gained notoriety for his podcast.
“I mean, I did.. That’s why many of you players are able to speak freely the way you do…If you really read between the lines, you’ll know I’m always in protection mode for the player. Trust me, I could say a lot more, but I keep it rated G a lot. It’s no need to be irritated.. facts or facts Micah,” Bryant tweeted.

However, the three-time Pro Bowler was not done. Within an hour, he came back and replied once again to Parsons’ tweet. This time using swear words, despite claiming in his previous post that he wants to keep things “rated G.”
“I had to double back because you really said I could have changed the culture and emphasized that, as if you don’t know…I was never on the yes-man political a**-kissingt. I sacrificed myself so a lot of you could do what you do.
“I’m on some s**t that’s way deeper than football. You are really too young to understand. You’ll realize soon you need more people like me who don’t give a f**k for the better of the athletes. The way I talked to Jerry vs the way you talk to Jerry is totally different.. Let it sink,” he tweeted.
Parsons did not reply to Bryant’s tweets, but he chose to end matters by replying to a different tweet from Byant.

Things have calmed down after this exchange. However, expectations are that this sort of online battle is to be expected within the Cowboys camp until the new HC takes charge.
