Deion Sanders Jr. is not buying into the 2025 NFL Draft rumors that have overtaken the football world. Every day begins with a new narrative taking over the internet, whether Deion Jr.’s dad, “Coach Prime” Deion Sanders, or his brother, Shedeur Sanders.
Deion Sanders Jr. Calls Out So-Called Analysts for Absurd Narratives
Nothing is set in stone regarding the 2025 NFL Draft except for the draft order, with the Tennessee Titans holding the top pick. However, NFL analysts and fans have taken over social media with their absurd takes on the future of several teams and players, which is not sitting well with Coach Prime’s eldest son.
Deion Jr. runs his own YouTube channel “Well Off Media,” and he took to X, calling out these random analysts. He tweeted, “Every single day I see a new page that’s ran by regular people (with no ties to the NFL or anybody in it) tweet some bulls**t starting with ‘Many NFL Scouts think’ …..”

Deion Jr. has been a key piece of the Colorado puzzle in the last two years. While he didn’t contribute to the Buffs on the field, his YT channel and Instagram took the CU brand to another level. He gave fans many behind-the-scenes moments of Colorado’s locker room and the Sanders clan.
I’m not sure what made Deion Jr. tweet about the NFL rumors, but his father has been in the spotlight recently, though for a different reason. Prime Time confirmed a conversation with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for the head coaching vacancy after Jones and Mike McCarthy parted ways.
“To hear from Jerry Jones is truly delightful, and it’s intriguing. I love Jerry and believe in Jerry. After you hang up, and process it, and think about it, it’s intriguing. But I love Boulder and everything there is about our team, the coaches, our student body, and the community,” Sanders told ESPN.
However, analysts like Jason Whitlock believe that Sanders is just using the Cowboys as leverage for a better pay day from the University of Colorado.
“This is just Deion trying to stir up leverage with his athletic director at Colorado so that he can get paid even more money. People, no chance Jerry Jones hires Deion Sanders. It’s not going to happen… This is just a gimmick. The Cowboys are a mess. Jerry doesn’t wanna hire someone inexperienced. It’s all a gimmick,” Whitlock said on his “Fearless” podcast.
