On Saturday evening, the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders will face off in a Divisional Round showdown. Several hours before the game, it was revealed that a surprise guest is in attendance to perform a viral song.
LiAngelo Ball Performs At Lions-Commanders Showdown
When the Lions defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Week 18 to clinch the No. 1 seed for the first time in franchise history, star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown provided a behind-the-scenes look at Detroit’s locker room. As the players celebrated their big win, LiAngelo Ball’s viral hit “Tweaker” was the soundtrack to their postgame party.
Now, the Lions invited Ball to perform at Saturday’s playoff game against the Commanders.

Ball was seen going through a soundcheck several hours before the game. While it initially was reported by some analysts that Ball would be performing at halftime, it turns out the Lions already announced that Theo and the Gridiron Band will be the halftime performers.
It appears Ball performed “Tweaker” as a walk-out song for the Lions or during a break.
During pregame warmups, Ball interacted with a number of players, including Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

“Tweaker” has become a viral sensation for Ball, a professional basketball player who produces music on the side. The track initially skyrocketed in popularity after Ball shared a snippet of the track on a stream with N3on. After an extremely positive response from fans, he released the full song, and it’s been everywhere — from Instagram to TikTok to celebrating locker rooms — ever since.
Ball had released other tracks in the past, but none took off like “Tweaker.” Given the success of his viral hit, Ball recently inked a lucrative record deal with Def Jam Recordings.
Ball is a professional basketball player who most recently played in Mexcio’s CIBACOPA league in 2024. Prior to signing abroad, he tried to make it to the NBA multiple times, including a stint in the G League and the Charlotte Hornets’ Summer League. Unfortunately, Ball wasn’t able to make it to the league like his brothers, LaMelo and Lonzo, did.
However, now LiAngelo has a viral hit to brag about to his brothers, and he can say he has performed in front of 65,000 fans at a packed Ford Field for a playoff game.
