‘He Is Perfect for the Moment’ – Rich Eisen Makes Bold Remarks About Deion Sanders Amid Cowboys Rumors

Football insider Rich Eisen shared bold remarks about Deion Sanders amid latest NFL coaching rumors.

According to NFL Network’s Rich Eisen, Deion Sanders is a loyalist. Bags filled with loads of money can’t lure a legend like Coach Prime to give up on his commitments. The hopes that the Colorado nation has vested in Sanders are quite significant, as the program is on the way to a major revamp.

Amid all these ambitious plans, a Dallas Cowboys coaching opportunity sent ripples across the college football arena, which led to experts speculating about Coach Prime’s departure.

Rich Eisen Makes Prediction About Deion Sanders’ Future

The NFL Hall of Famer has been a pivotal aspect of Colorado ever since he took over the program in the 2023 season. He kickstarted the transformation with a major revamp of the coaching staff and reinforced the playing roster with the best available talents from the transfer portal.

Although he was hit with a mass exodus of players leaving the program, Sanders made it through with the help of his son Shedeur and prime offensive weapon Travis Hunter. They finished the season 9-4, and almost nine players, including his two sons, Shedeur and Shilo, are heading into the 2025 NFL Draft.

Reiterating this very notion, Eisen believes Coach Prime is going nowhere.

“Deion always, always goes to bat for somebody who’s gone to bat for him,” he said on Saturday. “If you’re in his circle of trust, you are enveloped. I’ve been in it. I know it. I’ve seen it happen. Colorado is the first one to say, come to the Big 12 and bring your passion, your cult of personality, your essence, and your family.”

“And I think that that would matter to him, and the ability of, you know, getting these five-star recruits that he’s bringing in and keeping this building going, of a program and a national championship program can be built there, and he is perfect for these times of the NIL on the portal. He is perfect for talking to young men, ages 16, 17, 18, through 22. He is perfect for the moment, and he is perfect in that spot,” Eisen added to his explanation.

This week, Sanders admitted to getting a call from Cowboys Jerry Jones, as well as being thrilled to interact with him and discuss the offer. But Prime mentioned he had other commitments to look to. The NFL offer is enticing, but Colorado is also important to Sanders at this juncture, making Coach Prime’s immediate future a very intriguing proposition.
