Philip Rivers was so productive for so many years. Yet, the Chargers always came up short. 22 years ago, Rich Gannon led the Raiders to the Super Bowl, where they were thumped by the Bucs. The Raiders haven't come close to returning since. You may be wondering why there's no date listed. That's because the Texans debuted as an expansion team in 2002 and have never won a Divisional Round game. It's amazing the Cowboys are still one of the most successful franchises in NFL history, as they've now gone nearly 30 years without so much as reaching the NFC Championship Game. Making matters worse, they've been in the playoffs plenty have been the No. 1 seed multiple times, always losing in the Divisional Round. Jayden Daniels has injected hope into this downtrodden franchise. Washington hasn't seen the NFC Championship Game in well over 30 years. Dan Marino led the Dolphins to the Super Bowl in his second season, falling to the 49ers. It was widely expected he'd make it back. He never did, falling short in 1993. The Dolphins haven't so much as won a playoff game since 2000. No fanbase has been more miserable over the past three plus decades than the Browns. Since their last AFC Championship Game appearance, they played six more seasons before relocating to Baltimore. The Browns then reentered the NFL as an expansion team in 1999. The Ravens went on to win two Super Bowls. The Browns have been to the playoffs a total of four times in the last 35 years.
