Rex Johnston was the only athlete in the history who played for both the Pittsburgh Pirates and then the Pittsburgh Steelers. Vic Janowicz was a former football halfback and baseball catcher. He played for Washington in the NFL and then for the Pittsburgh Pirates in MLB. D.J. Dozier is a former NFL running back and ex-MLB outfielder. He played five seasons with the NFL's Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions and then played one season with MLB's New York Mets. Carrol Hardy was an athlete who played in the NFL for the 49ers and in MLB for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Houston Colt .45s and Minnesota Twins. Chad Hutchinson former football player who was a quarterback in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears. He also is a former MLB pitcher who played for the St. Louis Cardinals. Drew Henson was a member of the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions. At the start of his baseball career, he was drafted by the New York Yankees in the third round of the 1998 amateur draft and played for the organization during the 2002 and 2003 seasons until he retired from the sport in 2004. Brian Jordan was in the NFL and played for the Atlanta Falcons as a safety from 1989 to 1991. He also played baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Texas Rangers as an outfielder from 1992 to 2006. Deion Saunders played in the NFL for 14 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington, and Baltimore Ravens. He was also a baseball outfielder for nine seasons in MLB with the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants. He won two Super Bowl titles and made one World Series appearance in 1992, which mader him the only athlete to play in both a Super Bowl and a World Series. Bo Jackson is the only player who was named an All-Star in two American Sports. During his brief NFL career, he was a part of the Raiders between 1987-1990. He also played in MLB for the Royals, the Angles and the White Sox in his 8-year long baseball career.
