Hunter had a tremendous season and is now projected to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Deion Sanders Gives Travis Hunter Advice During Tamron Hall Appearance

Sanders appeared on the ‘Tamron Hall Show’ on Friday, Jan. 10. On the show, Hall asked him about Hunter. Hunter recently deactivated his social media accounts after he and his fiancée, Lenee, had been relentlessly criticized for their relationship. Sanders gave both of them some advice.

“Don’t stop. It hurt me that he did. Because the enemy wants you to do is stop. I don’t hunt and I don’t kill. I don’t do that, but I’m a country boy who lives on the ranch. And I understand the wild hogs that come that ravage my property and the deer. I don’t let nobody touch them. When people want to harm, they harm them because they get a clean shot and they’re still. When you’re moving, it’s hard to get a good shot at you.”

“When somebody stays still, now you got a chance to attack. I hate the stillness of that. Keep on moving. Don’t let the enemy get you when you’re still, and you’re having a pity party on yourself. I’m like, no dog, let’s go. You have endorsements and people who are sponsoring you to talk about their product. You can’t reactive, we got to activate right now.”

It is unclear whether Hunter will take this advice and get back on social media. He has not yet reactivated any of his accounts, and if he does not, fans will hear from him less as the NFL Draft approaches.

Hunter is projected to be among the top five picks. The New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars look like possible options, as neither of them needs a quarterback.

However, the draft will not take place for several months and plenty could change before then.
