Week 4 Fantasy Football Picks: Sleepers, Busts, Start/Sit, and More

PFN's Chief Fantasy Analyst Anita Marks breaks down the fantasy football landscape with Week 4 picks, sleepers, busts, start/sits, and more.

As more and more injuries around the league pile up, fantasy football managers are facing dilemmas on the best ways to round out your roster, and finding the optimal matchups to take advantage of. Let our resident fantasy football expert, Anita Marks, help you navigate the murky waters of Week 4 with sleepers, busts, and who to “tee up” in your lineups!

Fantasy Football Week 4 Sleepers: Start these quarterbacks

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Miami Dolphins (vs. Seattle Seahawks)

FitzMAGIC is a thing and expect Ryan to ball out this week against a Seahawks defense that has allowed over 1,300 passing yards to opposing gunslingers in three games so far this season.

Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams (vs. New York Giants)

Goff is averaging almost 14 yards per completion and has a favorable matchup against a Giants secondary that will have their hands full against Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, and Tyler Higbee.

    More quarterbacks to target

Fantasy Football Week 4 Busts: Quarterbacks

Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles (at San Francisco 49ers)

Wentz has been absolutely horrible this season, with a 63.9 QB rating, eight turnovers, and he is averaging less than six yards per pass attempt. STAY AWAY!

    More busts to avoid

Fantasy Football Week 4 Picks: Start these running backs

James Robinson, Jaguars (at Cincinnati Bengals)

Robinson is a huge part of the Jags offense, not just in the rushing attack, but posted 83 receiving yards in Week 3. The Bengals have allowed almost 170 total yards per game to opposing backfields. Can you say #ActiveAndAttractive!?

    Devin Singletary, Bills (at Raiders)

Even with Zack Moss back in the lineup, Singletary should still receive the bulk of the work and will face a Raiders rushing defense that is one of the worst in the NFL.

    More Running Backs to Target

Fantasy Football Week 4 Busts: Running Backs

    Devonta Freeman, Giants (at Rams)

I expect Freeman to receive the bulk of the touches for the Giants this week, but it’s a difficult matchup on the road, and the game script will be Giants playing from behind in the fourth and Jones trying to air it out.

Wide Receivers to start in your Week 4 fantasy lineups

DeVante Parker, Preston Williams, and Isaiah Ford, Miami Dolphins (vs. Seahawks)

Parker is a WR1, Preston a WR2, and Ford a solid Flex play in Week 4 against a Seahawks secondary that is allowing over 70 total points a game to opposing wide receiver corps. Blitzkrieg of points to be scored in this matchup.

Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers (vs. Falcons)

Lazard put up almost 150 receiving yards last week with an inactive Davante Adams.

I love the chemistry we’ve seen between Lazard and Rodgers so far this season, and even if Adams returns, I still like Lazard on my roster against a horrible Falcons secondary.

Wide Receiver Sleepers in Week 4

    • Tyler Boyd, Bengals (vs. Jaguars)

Fantasy Football Week 4 Busts: Wide Receivers

Darius Slayton, New York Giants (at Rams)

Slayton has 16 targets the last two weeks, but unfortunately has a date with Rams corner Jalen Ramsey on Sunday afternoon and will be shut down.

Tight End Starters in Week 4

T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions (vs. New Orleans Saints)

Hockenson is receiving an adequate target share from Stafford this season and has a juicy match against a Saints defense that has allowed four touchdowns to opposing TEs this season.

Jimmy Graham, Chicago Bears (vs. Indianapolis Colts)

Jimmy G found the endzone twice in Week 3. I’m banking on immediate chemistry with Nick Foles, especially in the red zone this Sunday.
