The Cleveland Browns’ sufferings ended with a 35-10 loss against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18. It was their sixth straight loss to end the season with an embarrassing 3-14 record.
Meanwhile, superstar defensive end Myles Garrett won hearts with his mid-game pep talk to Ravens rookie offensive tackle Roger Rosengarten. Let’s find out what the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year said to the rookie OT.
Myles Garrett’s Golden Words to Roger Rosengarten
Amid speculations about Garrett’s future with the Browns, a wholesome clip from the Ravens game surfaced on the internet. The No. 62 overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft approached Garrett when the game was about to end.
“I know I’m a nobody. But if I could get that jersey after?” Rosengarten asked Garrett.
The Browns DE’s response increased fans’ respect for him. Garrett put his arm around the rookie lineman and tapped his helmet.
“Hey, you’re in this league. Y’all are winning games, y’all looking great. You ain’t never a nobody. I got you,” Garrett said.

Rosengarten got himself a souvenir to cherish as he enters the postseason after going toe-to-toe against Garrett.
The Ravens will now play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wild Card Weekend. Baltimore’s offense is currently steaming hot, scoring 31+ in the last four games. The Ravens have fallen short in recent years, but there’s a decent chance they’ll get their hands on the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Garrett’s Future With Browns
As the Browns enter the offseason, Garrett’s urgency has become a pressing storyline. Garrett is contractually bound to the Browns until 2026, but the edge rusher has clarified that he doesn’t want to stay if Cleveland chooses to rebuild. He wants a clear plan about his future and how Cleveland plans on contending next season.
Garrett hinted about exit meetings with head coach Kevin Stefanski, general manager Andrew Berry, and the front office.
In his rookie season, Garrett saw the Browns go 0-16. However, Cleveland made the playoffs in 2023, raising expectations ahead of a disastrous 2024, which he considers to be among the most disappointing.
Individually, the Browns superstar made it to the Pro Bowl for the sixth time. Garrett also became the first player to have at least 14 sacks in four consecutive years and helped Cleveland finish with the ninth-ranked defense by Pro Football Network’s Defense+ ranking.
In 2025, the Browns will undergo heavy turnover in hopes of sparking more inspiring results. Having already fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and restructured Deshaun Watson’s contract to alleviate the short-term cap constraints, there’s a path back to competent football.
