Xavier Worthy has been an instrumental weapon for the Kansas City Chiefs chasing their third back-to-back Super Bowl. His girlfriend Tia Jones has been supporting the wide receiver all season long.
Jones, a track and field athlete, has missed several of her matches this season due to injuries. However, on the Christmas Day game, she was present in Pittsburgh and took her fans behind the scenes of this emphatic victory.
Xavier Worthy’s Girlfriend Tia Wows Fans With Behind-the-Scenes Look From the Steelers Game
Jones wore a custom outfit for the matchup, a fitting choice in support of the Chiefs and the festivities. Her red dress reminded the fans of Worthy’s jersey, his number being present at the front and the back of the dress.
She took to her Instagram to show off the decorations made by the home team in their classic red and gold colors. Jones uploaded some pictures and a video from the sidelines as well. The Chiefs ended up winning the contest 29-10, hence she captioned her post, “See you in the playoffs.”

In the game, Worthy caught the ball eight times for 79 yards with a touchdown to his name. The speedy receiver rushed for 10 yards as well.
The 21-year-old now has a total of nine touchdowns — tied for tops amongst rookies this season (Brian Thomas Jr.).
Worthy’s Grinch Celebration Lands Him in Hot Waters
In the first quarter, Worthy finished a TD pass from Patrick Mahomes. After that, he was joined by Hollywood Brown for a classic “Grinch stealing Christmas” celebration. However, the fans were shocked when the referee penalized this celebration.
It was later revealed that Worthy was flagged for the action of brandishing a firearm. This earned the Chiefs a 15-yard penalty, which ultimately led to Harrison Butker missing his kick for an extra point.
The rookie was penalized and fined $11,255 for a similar instance against the Cincinnati Bengals in September. The NFL has not yet announced the fine that Worthy will be subjected to for his latest “violent” gesture.
