Sanders Secures Future of Colorado Players Going to NFL With Disability Insurance

To make Christmas even more memorable, Coach Prime took a great step by introducing insurance for NFL-bound athletes — his son Shedeur and top weapon Travis Hunter to be precise. It will also include other players who are eligible for the upcoming draft.

He made the announcement during the pregame presser alongside Colorado’s athletic director Rick George.

“It was Coach Prime’s idea,” George said to the reporters. “He wanted to make sure our players felt secure and could represent the program at full strength,” he added. This will secure the medical expenses of NFL-bound athletes if they suffer any significant injuries.

Although the exact amount and plan details were not revealed, Coach Prime mentioned that it exceeds way more than anyone has ever received while playing in college football. Certainly, it gives a testament to what Deion Sanders stands for and his unwavering commitment to the program.
