Netflix is set to have a star-studded group of pregame show hosts for NFL football on Christmas Day. From athletes to entertainers, Netflix has it covered for “NFL Christmas Gameday.”
Christmas NFL Pregame Shows on Netflix To Be Spectacular
There will be two pregame shows on Christmas Day, one from each location. There will be a kickoff show before the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game coming from the Steel City. Following that game, there will be a pregame show from Houston where the Houston Texans play host to the Baltimore Ravens.
Kay Adams, the host of “Up & Adams,” will serve as lead anchor for the show. She will be joined by Super Bowl-winning quarterback Drew Brees and Heisman Trophy award winner and former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Former linebacker Manti Te’o, who serves as an analyst for NFL Network, and Mina Kimes, an NFL analyst from ESPN, will also join the crew.

The Pittsburgh pregame show hosts include Laura Rutledge (host at ESPN), Devin McCourty (NFL analyst at NBC), and Jason McCourty (NFL analyst at ESPN and CBS Sports).
Additionally, comedian Bert Kreischer joins “NFL Christmas Gameday” as a tailgate correspondent, and comedian Nate Bargatze will also provide special guest commentary.
Further, “NFL Christmas Gameday” talent includes Ian Rapoport, the NFL Network’s insider, reporting breaking news, and former NFL official Gene Steratore as a rules analyst across both games.
“It’s a new, fun pregame show with a fascinating and entertaining blend of personalities to give us a fresh outlook on the games and everything going on with the NFL,” Rapoport told Tudum. “Plus, the games are awesome. So many interesting storylines. Can’t imagine a better football day.”
Brees and “NFL RedZone” host Scott Hanson will also provide additional commentary outside the US with international anchors as the game is being broadcast outside of the United States. Hanson says part of the thrill of “NFL Christmas Gameday” this year is that the games themselves may have heightened stakes, as teams jockey for position in the standings with the postseason drawing nearer.
“I’m most excited to see the domino effect of playoff-clinching scenarios that will happen during those six hours,” Hanson says of the live event.
