On the field, Gibbs is having the best season of his young career. In just his second season in the league, Gibbs has far and away cleared last season’s already lofty number of 945 rushing yards. In just 15 games this season, he is up to 1,156 yards as his ground game helps Detroit keep the No. 4 offense in the league, according to Pro Football Network’s Offense+.

In Week 16 against the Chicago Bears, Gibbs was his usual self, adding 109 yards on 23 carries while rushing for a TD as well. It was his third game of the year with 100+ yards and his 12th rushing TD (15th overall). But it was what happened after the game that had fans gushing over the youngster.

Once Detroit had wrapped up a comfortable 34-17 victory over the Chicago Bears, including a mind-boggling stumble TD play courtesy of Ben Johnson, Gibbs was seen walking on the field looking into the crowd. It was clear that the second-year running back was searching for someone and right next to the end zone, he found his target.

Locking eyes with Anderson, Gibbs rushed over to her in the stands, greeting her with a hug. As fans around them cheered the two on, the moment was sweet enough for the NFL to even post it on their social media.

Anderson, who was born and brought up in Illinois and graduated from Millikin University has been a constant at Ford Field over the last couple of seasons.

The social media influencer with over 111,000 followers is half-Korean and half-Swedish. She works at Keller Williams North Shore West in Illinois but is regularly at Lions games to cheer Gibbs and the team on. While the two are very private about their relationship, Anderson does post the occasional photo of the two on her Instagram.
