Colorado’s dual-threat star Travis Hunter has been a class act ever since he came into the limelight because of his incredible plays on both offense and defense. Even after leading the Buffaloes to a 9-3 campaign in 2024 and becoming Colorado’s second-ever Heisman winner on Dec. 14, Hunter has continued to shine as an athlete on the gridiron but also off it with fans.

Fans on X upon seeing the gesture, couldn’t help but laud Hunter.
“He’s a great character guy.” A fan said.
“10/10 guy,” another fan echoed.
“Those kids so damn happy. Good look TH,” a fan wrote.
A barrage of similar comments came flooding in.
“I adore Travis! He’s so sweet!” another fan commented.
“Love Travis! He’s an amazing person! 💛🖤,” a fan wrote.
“Hunter is amazing, I’ve seen pics of him doing stuff like this so many times, he’s one of a kind!! Great dude!” a fan chimed in.
This is not the only instance where Hunter took the time to make a young fan’s day. After a 49-24 win over the Utah Utes in November, the two-way star was making his way to the locker room. Before exiting, he stopped for a young fan in a wheelchair and signed his jerseys. He also gifted the kid his wristbands that he had worn during the game.
NFL teams are hoping that this kind of conduct from Hunter continues in the league as he’s projected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. According to Pro Football Network’s latest mock, Hunter is projected to be picked at No. 3 by the New England Patriots, who have glaring holes on both offense and defense.
According to Jacob Infante’s analysis of Hunter: “As a wide receiver, Travis Hunter has the athleticism, route-running savvy, and ball skills needed to get open and make big plays. I project him even better as a cornerback, where his route-recognition skills are strong, and his ball skills would immediately put him in the NFL’s elite in that category.
“Pairing him and Christian Gonzalez in the secondary would give New England something truly special for its defense.”
Hunter finished his three-year college career with 2,063 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns. His best production came in 2024 with 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns. On defense, he has made 81 total tackles in three years along with nine interceptions and 24 passes defended.
