During the Cincinnati Bengals’ 24-6 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 16, quarterback Joe Burrow made an incredible play while falling to the turf. He avoided a sack and threw a two-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Tee Higgins in the end zone despite being almost on the ground. The TD finished off a 99-yard drive after Browns RB D’Onta Foreman’s fumble was recovered by Vonn Bell.

“Burrow is unreal 💀,” a fan wrote.
He stumbled to his knees, however, the referees ruled it a touchdown because a defender didn’t cause him to fall. In light of this, a fan said: “Wasn’t touched by a defender so it doesn’t matter that his knee touched, crazy td pass by Joe Burrow 🐐.”
Burrow has been consistently amazing during this 2024 campaign, and he was great again for Cincinnati, completing 23 of 30 passes for 252 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.
With this showing, the Bengals are still in the AFC playoff race, now at 7-8 after a three-game winning stretch. To make the postseason, they’ll need to win their last two games against the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers, plus some lucky breaks.
Postgame, the QB said: “This one just keeps us in the race. It feels good to play in big games. It’s exciting to still be in it.”
The Bengals will take on the Denver Broncos in Week 17 at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati.
