However, with a savvy defense and the best year of Josh Allen’s career, which might net him an MVP award, Buffalo currently sits second in the AFC with an 11-3 record. Spirits are high in Buffalo after an impressive victory over the Detroit Lions last week, and as a result, the Bills have something special up their sleeve for Week 16 against the New England Patriots.
Fans All for Bringing Back Classic Bills Uniform
With a social media post, Buffalo made it official. A fan favorite was making its return against New England as the Bills would be decked out in red and white. This time, however, a new spin will make it a genuine first-time-ever combo for the franchise.
While fans in Buffalo might be aware of the red and white combo, the red shirt and white helmet pair will be donned with white pants. Previously, the only times fans got a glimpse of this particular combo was in training camp for their quarterbacks.
Immediately, fans went into a frenzy. The red and white look, a classic for the team, has always been a fan favorite due to its immaculate style.
Understandably, the common sentiment was somewhere around “Sharp looking uniform combination. Lets Go Buffalo!!”

Just how popular this particular color scheme is was clear by the numerous comments about “The Reds are coming back!”

Of course, with the game against the Patriots, some couldn’t help but draw comparisons to a classic New England jersey as well, with the helmets swapped out.

But the most common comment was nearly unanimous. While the red jersey and white helmet combo has been a recurring combination, the fans want red helmets.

The refresh on an old look is perhaps the best way to surmise this Bills season as a whole. While they go back to an old favorite, the optimism around the season is hard to ignore.
