NFL Fans Express Concern As WR Grant DuBose Suffers Major Hit During the Texans Game

While DuBose laid on the cart motionless, fans were left worried about his health following the helmet-to-helmet hit from Texans’ safety Calen Bullock.

The medical staff had to cut into DuBose’s jersey, remove his mask, and equip him with an oxygen mask.

Reacting to the injury, a fan expressed concern about DuBose’s safety as he wrote, “Is Grant Dubose even breathing? This is scary.”

“Not on his own I’m afraid. Bless his heart. Jesus please have mercy and grace on this young man,” another fan sent prayers for DuBose’s recovery.

“He’ll recover. When players are in stable condition at this point recovery is a certainty. Big scare though,” another fan expressed optimism about the Dolphins WR’s recovery.

“That injury is 100% on Tua. He led his receiver right into the path of the safety. Qb’s do not know how to protect their receivers anymore,” another fan pointed out.

“I have broken my neck twice. I pray for movement in his head, i pray he can feel his arms. My soul is hurting and my soul is praying. Dear God I’m sick about this,” another fan shared her worries about the WR’s safety.

“I think the ambulance would have been on the field if that was the case.. like Demar Hamlin last year. The medical staff didn’t seem SUPER urgent or worried taking him to the tunnel,” another fan added while clarifying the potential intensity of DuBose’s injury.

“There’s very few reasons why ATs/EMS would completely remove ALL his padding and undershirt unless they suspected something very serious. Hopefully it’s just standard protocol for them to remove pads and everything prior to transport when suspecting a C-spine injury,” another fan added.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport took on X (previously known as Twitter) to let the fans know that DuBose is now stable and shifted to a local hospital after being ruled out with a head injury.
