After their Week 15 victory over the New York Giants, the PFN Playoff Predictor gives the Ravens a 95.7% chance of making the playoffs. Additionally, the Steelers’ loss to the Eagles on Sunday means the Ravens are just one game out of the AFC North lead.
The Ravens will host the Steelers on a crucial matchup in just six days when they meet on Saturday in Week 16.
Baltimore didn’t have any clinching scenarios on the table in Week 15, but they remain in very good shape to make the playoffs as a Wild Card at worst. The PFN NFL Playoff Predictor gives the Ravens a 97% chance to make the playoffs. And their chances of winning the AFC North increased by nearly 13 percentage points in Week 15. The Ravens now sit with a 46% chance to win the division.
The Ravens have the 12th-easiest remaining strength of schedule, with a rematch against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16 (Saturday, Dec. 21) as the most difficult game remaining. Baltimore does have a pair of short-week games between the Steelers game and the Christmas Day game vs. the Houston Texans, which unfolds the following Wednesday.
Frankly, the AFC Wild Card race isn’t very deep. Baltimore is in a nice spot with a 9-5 record and is currently the fifth seed in the AFC. The Chargers and Broncos are 8-5, and they round up the remaining Wild Card spots. After that, the Colts are 6-7 while the Dolphins and Bengals are both 6-8.
If the Ravens win two more games, they’ll guarantee themselves a playoff spot. And if they struggle to get two more, a lot would need to go wrong.

Can the Baltimore Ravens Still Win the Division?
PFN’s Playoff Predictor gives the Ravens a 34.1% chance of winning the division, compared to a 65.5% chance for the Steelers.
The Week 16 rematch vs. the Steelers in Baltimore is a must-win scenario for the Ravens to have any division hopes. Should the Steelers win that game, it would clinch the division for Pittsburgh regardless of what happens in every other game.
Even if the Steelers were to lose their other three games and the Ravens were to win their other three, both teams would finish with 11-6 records. The tiebreaker would go to Pittsburgh at that point by virtue of its season sweep.
