    What Happened to Will Levis?

Levis took a massive hit while being sacked by Jaguars pass rusher Josh Hines-Allen on the final play of the first half in Week 14.

Hines-Allen approached Levis’ blindside before driving the Titans quarterback’s right shoulder into the ground. Levis got up slowly and appeared to hold his shoulder as Tennessee went to the locker room at halftime.

Levis’ Week 14 injury is especially concerning given that the former second-round pick already suffered a Grade 2 AC joint sprain in his right shoulder earlier this season. The Kentucky product was initially hurt in Week 4, then missed Weeks 7 through 9 while recovering.

Levis completed nine of 13 attempts for 89 scoreless yards in the first half of Sunday’s game. He’s hit more big plays since returning in Week 10 and ranks 15th in EPA per dropback over the past four weeks. Still, Levis has struggled on a down-by-down basis and is dead last in passing success rate over that span.

Did Levis Return in Week 14?

Tennessee officially labeled Levis questionable to return with a right shoulder injury. However, he re-entered Sunday’s game on the Titans’ first second-half drive.

The Titans’ QB stretched out his shoulder and threw warmup passes after halftime. Levis appears to have avoided a significant injury.

After Sunday’s loss, Levis told reporters that he aggravated the AC joint sprain he suffered earlier this season. He also indicated he received a pain-killing injection in order to return in Week 14.

    Fantasy Implications of Levis’ Injury

Levis had been trending in the right direction, making this injury more impactful than it would have been otherwise. If you thought betting on Levis to get Calvin Ridley his looks was a struggle when it comes to consistency, this isn’t going to make things any better.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine isn’t a high-volume target earner, making a downtick in the quality of looks damning to his future value. If Levis sits, there’s not a pass catcher on this roster you’d be starting with confidence.
