NFL-Bound Shedeur Sanders Pays a Visit to the Raiders’ Home Stadium Ahead of 2025 Draft

Shedeur Sanders posted an Instagram story highlighting Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders -- is Sanders headed to Sin City in April?

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and blue-chip NFL prospect Shedeur Sanders posted a video earlier today of him driving by Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. This social media release will surely gain the attention of numerous NFL analysts and fans alike, with the possibility of Sanders being drafted by the club.

While the draft order is yet to be finalized, it has been rumored that the Raiders, the New York Giants, and the Dallas Cowboys may be interested in bringing in Shedeur and potentially his father, Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Deion Sanders.

What Can Shedeur Sanders Bring to the NFL?

In an Instagram story, Sanders posted a video of him in Las Vegas and driving past the Raiders stadium. In addition, he captioned the video with the phrase “Legendary.”

While this is far from a confirmation that Sanders will play for the Raiders to begin his NFL career, it does detail how the son of Prime Time has much respect and admiration for the Raiders franchise.

Although it is unclear which team he will be representing next season, a franchise will be getting an elite pocket passer who has been extremely accurate and been easily able to read defensive schemes and coverages at the college level. Though there are still some concerns with his game, Sanders has the ability to improve any struggling NFL offense.

This season, Sanders threw for 3,926 yards, 35 touchdowns, and only eight interceptions. Furthermore, he added four rushing touchdowns on the ground.

This has led to numerous NFL analysts projecting Sanders as a top selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, including Pro Football Network’s Derek Tate. In his recent mock draft, Tate believes Sanders will be selected No. 2 overall to the Raiders.

Tate: “Shedeur Sanders isn’t a perfect prospect with limited arm talent and polarizing leadership concerns when things haven’t gone well in Colorado, but his flashes of processing, anticipation, and off-script creation all project favorably to competently running an NFL offense.

“Who knows if Antonio Pierce will get a second year as the Las Vegas Raiders’ head coach, but the safety blanket of star tight end Brock Bowers should give Raider Nation a reason to be optimistic about the future of an offensive unit that hasn’t had much to get excited about in recent years.”

While it remains to be seen where Sanders is taken next year, it is clear that he believes Allegiant Stadium is already a legendary NFL stadium.
