Chicago’s starting quarterback didn’t leave the game, however, and seemed perfectly fine when throwing a 31-yard touchdown to Keenan Allen on the very next play.

However, Williams was subsequently seen grimacing on the sidelines and did head to the blue medical tent for an evaluation on his knee. The Bears did not issue an injury status, and Williams remained on the sideline, suggesting that this is a minor ailment for now.
With the Bears trailing and Williams needing to drop back for the majority of the game remaining, he’ll likely be exposed to further potential hits. That makes this something to monitor, as the last thing Chicago needs is any damage to its franchise quarterback.
