Note that the full inactive list is released by teams 90 minutes before kickoff. This list will be updated at that time.

New York Giants Week 13 Injury Report

    Tommy DeVito, QB

Drew Lock, your time might be coming.

New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito is battling a right forearm injury and is considered a “long shot” to face the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

DeVito did not travel to Dallas with the rest of the Giants’ roster. Instead, he is undergoing further evaluations and is expected to join the Giants in Texas later on Wednesday.

DeVito wasn’t listed on the Giants’ injury report on Monday but was limited on Tuesday, when he told reporters his entire body was sore. The former undrafted free agent was downgraded to DNP for Wednesday’s practice.

After Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers, Daboll admitted that DeVito had gotten “dinged up” but was hopeful that the second-year quarterback would be available for Week 13. Clearly, DeVito hasn’t progressed as hoped during the week.

Lock was passed over for starting duties after the Giants released Daniel Jones last week. New York gave him a one-year, $5 million contract in March before watching him struggle during the preseason.

Lock completed just four of 10 passes for 17 yards and an interception in the exhibition season. Ninety-three quarterbacks took at least 10 dropbacks during the 2024 preseason; Lock’s efficiency (-0.98) ranked 92nd.

    Jermaine Eluemunor, OT

Eluemunor (quadriceps) is out for Thursday’s game at Dallas. He was forced out of Sunday’s game versus the Buccaneers early by a quad injury, and now he’ll have to miss his first game of the season in Week 13 as he recovers. In his place, Chris Hubbard projects to start at left tackle Thursday.

    Armon Watts, DT

Watts (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. He was expected to miss Thursday’s contest against the Cowboys as a result of a shoulder injury he presumably suffered in Week 12 versus the Buccaneers.

Watts will now be forced to sit out at least the next four games with the injury. In his absence, Jordon Riley is a candidate to see additional snaps on the defensive line.

    Final Giants Injury Report

Tae Banks, DB (Rib) – Questionable; D.J. Davidson, DL (Shoulder) – playing; Tommy DeVito, QB (Rt. Forearm) – Questionable; Jermaine Eluemunor, OL (Quad) – Out; Theo Johnson, TE (Back) – playing; Dexter Lawrence, DL (Knee) – playing; Micah McFadden, LB (Thumb/Heel) – playing; Tyler Nubin, DB (Back) – playing; Evan Neal, OL (Hip) – playing; Azeez Ojulari, LB (Toe) – playing; Armon Watts, DL (Shoulder) – Out

Dallas Cowboys Week 13 Injury Report

    Brandin Cooks, WR

Brandin Cooks (knee) is expected to make his return on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys formally activated the veteran receiver from injured reserve on Wednesday, and he has no injury designation for Thursday’s game.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said Monday (Nov. 25) that the veteran receiver had a “good chance” to suit up against the Giants this week. Cooks was limited for Monday and Tuesday’s walkthroughs but fully practiced on Wednesday. Dallas opened his IR return window last Wednesday (Nov. 20).

Cooks hasn’t played since September while battling a knee injury and subsequent infection. The 31-year-old was limited for every practice leading up to Week 12 but did not play despite being listed as questionable.

Cooks posted nine catches for 91 yards and a touchdown in four games before going down. While he could overtake Jalen Tolbert to become Dallas’ WR2 down the stretch, there’s not much fantasy appeal in a Cowboys offense helmed by Rush or Lance.

    Trevon Diggs, CB

Diggs (groin) was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Giants.

Diggs was unable to play against the Commanders this past Sunday due to a groin injury. He didn’t participate in Tuesday’s walkthrough, but he’s given himself a chance to play Thursday after practicing in a limited capacity Wednesday. Diggs’ official status won’t likely be known until about 90 minutes before Thursday’s 4:30 p.m. kickoff.

    Jake Ferguson, TE

While the Cowboys hope to get Cooks on the field this week, tight end Jake Ferguson (concussion) was “little more of a long shot,” Jones said Monday.

Indeed, Ferguson never practiced this week and has been ruled out for Thursday’s game. With the short turnaround before Thursday’s game, Ferguson will likely need more time to exit the NFL’s concussion protocol. He never practiced last week and didn’t play in Dallas’ win over the Commanders in Week 12.

Luke Schoonmaker, the Cowboys’ second-round pick in 2023, has been a viable replacement with Ferguson sidelined for most of the past two games. He caught six passes for 56 yards in Week 11 before collecting three catches for 55 yards and his first touchdown of the year in Week 12, finishing as a top-10 fantasy TE in both games.

    Eric Kendricks, LB

Kendrick (groin/shoulder) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Giants.

The Cowboys may have taken the cautious route in keeping Kendricks out of walkthroughs and Wednesday’s practice given that Dallas is operating on a short week. Despite the DNPs, Kendricks still has a chance at playing Thursday, though whether he’ll suit up may not be known until the Cowboys’ inactive list is announced approximately 90 minutes before the 4:30 p.m. kickoff.

If Kendricks ends up being sidelined for Thursday’s contest, Marist Liufau would be the top candidate to start at linebacker alongside DeMarvion Overshown and Nick Vigil (foot).

    CeeDee Lamb, WR

CeeDee Lamb (back/foot) was limited for Monday and Tuesday’s walkthroughs but fully practiced on Wednesday. The Cowboys were likely taking it easy on their star wideout, who’s battled injury issues all season. Lamb was removed from Dallas’ injury report on Wednesday and is good to go for Week 13.

Lamb has remained the featured weapon in Dallas’ offense with Rush under. He caught eight passes for 93 yards in Week 11 and hauled in 10 catches for 67 yards in Week 12, finishing as fantasy’s WR14 in both weeks.

    Zack Martin, OG

Martin (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday’s contest against the Giants.

Martin will be unavailable for Week 13, as expected, while he continues to nurse the ankle injury he suffered in Week 11 versus the Texans. T.J. Bass appears to be in line to draw the start at left guard versus New York.

    Cooper Rush, QB

The Dallas Cowboys only held an estimated practice on Monday and Tuesday, but quarterback Cooper Rush (knee) was considered limited. Fortunately, he fully practiced on Wednesday and was removed from the club’s injury report.

Rush ranks 11th in passing success rate but 27th in EPA per dropback over the past two weeks, suggesting he’s keeping the Cowboys’ offense on schedule but failing to connect for explosive plays.

    Nick Vigil, LB

Vigil (foot) is questionable to play Thursday versus the Giants.

Vigil was a limited participant at the Cowboys’ practice Wednesday after being estimated to be a non-participant at the team’s walkthroughs Monday and Tuesday.

Vigil was able to play through the foot injury each of the last two weeks, but his status will be worth monitoring ahead of Thursday’s contest with New York.

    Final Cowboys Injury Report

DaRon Bland, CB (Foot) – playing; Caleon Carson, CB (Shoulder) – playing; Brandin Cooks, WR (Knee) – playing; Trevon Diggs, CB (Groin/Knee) – Questionable; Chuma Edoga, G (Toe) – playing; Jake Ferguson, TE (Concussion) – Out; Tyler Guyton, T (Shoulder) – playing; Eric Kendricks, LB (Groin/Shoulder) – Questionable; Marshawn Kneeland, DE (Knee) – Doubtful; CeeDee Lamb, WR (Back/Foot) – playing; Jourdan Lewis, CB (Neck) – playing; Hunter Luepke, RB (Calf) – playing; Zack Martin, G (Ankle/Shoulder) – Out; Akin Richards, OL (Ankle) – playing; Cooper Rush, QB (Knee) – playing; Tyler Smith, OL (Ankle/Knee) – playing; Nick Vigil, LB (Foot) – Questionable
